Active Inference: Addressing The Hard Problem of Agentic Access Governance

In the new world of multi-agent systems, access governance must be as dynamic as the systems it protects. Today we should be augmenting our existing access control frameworks to allow agentic systems to adopt an Active Inference model, one that delivers a generative governance approach. This article points to key insights from the world of cognitive neuroscience to propose a solution that draws from Bayesian Risk and Active Inference in Global Work Theory to deliver a dynamic real-time audit and assurance model.
