Visualizing the Assurance Gradient
To fully grasp the commercial and operational shift from traditional IAM to continuous agentic governance, we have developed an interactive visualization of the Assurance Gradient. This dashboard simulates the real-time telemetry engine at the core of AGIm.
Launch the demo window here:
Understanding the Demo Controls:
The simulation allows you to manipulate the two core dimensions of continuous trust:
- Environmental Volatility: Controls the mathematical rate of trust decay. High volatility environments (untrusted networks, highly privileged access) drain trust faster, requiring a higher volume of telemetry to maintain seamless access.
- Risk Sensitivity (Timeline Speed): Controls how aggressively the system processes the passage of time and evaluates the continuous event stream.
Simulating the Lifecycle:
As you interact with the visualizer, observe the following AGIm mechanics:
- The Sawtooth Wave: Trigger a risk anomaly to drop the gradient. As it crosses a control threshold (e.g., 80%), observe the system apply the mitigation and instantly bounce the assurance back up by 20%.
- Control Fatigue: Drop the gradient past the same threshold three times. Notice how the Compensating Controls table marks the mitigation as “EXHAUSTED.” The system will no longer cushion the fall, proving that automated controls cannot be abused indefinitely.
- The Probationary Ceiling: Drive the gradient to 0% to trigger the Kill Agent protocol. Upon clicking “Resurrect Identity,” the simulation enters the Probationary State. Note the hatched “Glass Ceiling” blocking the top 40% of the chart, the amber warning state, and the accelerated decay rate.
Risk Override: Use the “Accept Risk” button to simulate a documented, human-in-the-loop business override that instantly clears all fatigue and probation penalties, restoring the identity to 100% trust
